I am a rugby ball

  1. Hi Lyem,
What a good idea to put this piece of writing up. Are you missing watching and playing rugby? I imagine many players are. Which ball skills could you practise at home? What about the idea on our slides to make a running track, time yourself. Keep a record of your times.

  2. Hello Lyem
I really like the line in your poem 'I love soaring over the players like a hawk' That line created a very good picture in my mind when I read it.
Do you have a rugby goal post at home to practise your kicking skills?
I spotted the beautiful poppies your family created and put on your roadside fence when I went up the road the other day. Keep up your great writing Lyem.

  3. Hi Lyem
This is another great poem. I wonder how long it will be until rugby starts on Saturdays, I bet you can't wait. Are you practising your kicking and passing skills at home. I like the line 'when grass scrapes me it feels nice'. Keep up the great writing Lyem. Mrs Bayley

Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments.
Positive - something done well
Thoughtful - a sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say
Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
