Titanic

The Titanic In 1909 a ship called the Titanic wanted to cross the Atlantic Ocean but it hit an iceberg. It ripped the rivets out. The men sank because they let the women and the kids go first in the lifeboats but some of the lifeboats were not even filled with people. Thats why so many sank and died. The Titanic's hull had sixteen watertight compartments so if they flooded with water the compartments won’t all flood. But it didn’t work. The bow of the Titanic went down and then the stern tilted upwards in the air. Over 1500 lives got lost by the great sinking of the Titanic.The Titanic is still remembered as a terrible disaster.
